Students entering the Accelerated Christian Education Program for the first time will be given a thorough Diagnostic Test for placement purposes only.  This test is not for screening students into or excluding students from the school.  It is given so that we can properly place students in the curriculum. We will give them assignments to fill in any gaps in their learning , or give them advanced work if appropriate.  The testing fee is $45 and is paid at the time of registration only once for new students.

Carson Christian School, established in 1983, has been one of the most successful schools in the Southland. Because of the self-motivating aspects of the curriculum, each student has the potential for success.

It is an individualized, 'no fail' program, allowing students to start at any time and work at their own level to master material, without being in competition with each other.  Teachers have no need to grade 'on a curve'.  The learning process here contains a safety net, so there are no D's or F's. Included is the opportunity for credit recovery.

The emphasis is placed on genuine mastery, rather than social promotions.  In the early grades, Phonics are introduced, producing a turnout of good readers.

Our highly qualified staff persons are selected for their teaching knowledge and their dedication to education and Biblical principles.

We also offer:
SAT/ACT Prep
Responsibility Training
Educational and Recreational Field Trips
Organized League Sports
Work Scholarships when available

Uniforms are navy blue or black skirts or pants (jeans are allowed) and white polo shirts.  On Fridays, gray sweats are worn for P.E.

Lunch can be brought from home or purchased at school.  Food and snack prices range from 25 cents to $2.50, depending on the selection.  Teachers will assist young children with making purchases.  Other food options may be available on selected days.
